Biography
Junior Year: Backed up a fantastic sophomore season with an even better junior year...named All-American, All-Region and All-CCAA for the second straight year...dropped season average to 73.0...was the team's top golfer in two tournaments and the No. 2 in eight more...finished in SSU's top three in all 13 tournaments...was second place at the InterWest Chico Invite, the Sonoma State Invitational, and the Poor Boy Invitational...shot under 70 on five occasions, including a season-low 67 at the Poor Boy Invite in Bakersfield...set a personal record with a 67-69-70--206 at the Poor Boy...finished 9th at the CCAA Championships...finished 17th at the NCAA West Regionals...finished 27th at the NCAA Championships.
Sophomore Year: Became the first All-American in SSU golf history as sophomore in 2005-06...also honored as All-West Region and All-CCAA...was SSU's No. 1 golfer in seven of the ten tournaments he finished...was the individual medalist at the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships in San Juan Capistrano...shot under 70 for a round three times...named CCAA Golfer of the Week for March 1-7...finished in the top ten in six different tournaments...placed 4th at the CCAA Championships...finished 10th at the NCAA West Regionals...average round: 73.1.
Freshman Year: Participated in eight tournaments in a solid freshman year...placed second on the team in three events...shot a 72-74-72--222 to tie for 15th at the CCAA Championships...also shot a 222 at the Coyote Invitational...average round: 76.6.
Attended Apple Valley Christian High School...qualified for the Optimist Junior Golf Tournament in 2002, 2003, and 2004...named the Daily Press Golfer of the Year and High Desert Junior Golfer Player of the Year...shot a low round of 62 at the Apple Valley Country Club...was an All-League selection all four years of high school...helped lead team to four league championships as well.
Came to Sonoma State because he saw the potential in SSU's fledgling program...his goal is to win a national championship this year...is a big fan of the Sacramento Kings...lists Freddy Couples as his favorite athlete...enjoys the television show, Entourage...born 10/22/85.
