2007-08:  Competed in six tournaments as a sophomore...shot a career-best round of 67 at the CSUB Poor Boy Invitational in Bakersfield...finished third in that tournament, his highest team rank of the season, with a 76-67-75--218...placed 20th at the Buzzini/Stanislaus Invitational at 75-71-77--223...posted three rounds under par...average round:  76.72.

2006-07:  Had a promising freshman campaign for the Seawolves in 2006-07...competed in nine tournaments, including the last three...placed 7th at the NCAA West Regionals...was 6th at the Sonoma State Invitational...shot a season-low round of 68 at the Regionals in Lakewood, Colorado...his best tournament was also at the Regionals, where he shot 71-68-72--211...finished 17th at the CCAA Championships and 74th at the NCAA Championships...average round:  76.2.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Came to the mainland from Iolani High School in Honolulu...was a two-time First Team ILH All-Star...earned four varsity letters at Iolani HS as well...won the 2005 Barber's Point Invitational.

PERSONAL:  Selected Sonoma State because of the beautiful surroundings and exceptional golf program...lists David Ishii as his biggest athletic influence because of his Hawaiian background, professional achievements, and endless contributions to Hawaiian junior golfers...his favorite sports team is the University of Hawaii's football team...his most memorable sports moment was making it to Nationals in 2007...enjoys the music of Jack Johnson...born 4/6/88.
