A 2002 member of the Sonoma State men's soccer national championship team, Clark Rupp begins his first season as the goalkeepers coach for the men's and women's soccer programs at SSU in 2012.

As a former SSU student-athlete who walked onto the men's soccer program, Clark was part of the national championship team in 2002 and the CCAA championship team in 2005.  As the Seawolves' starting goalkeeper, he finished his career with 18 shutouts, a 1.04 goals against average and is atop or near the top in all major goalkeeping records at Sonoma State.

Prior to attending SSU, Clark prepped at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, Calif. where he won a North Coast Section (NCS) title in 2000 and appeared in another final in 2002.

A 2006 graduate of Sonoma State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Clark is currently the Director of Goalkeeping for Sonoma County Alliance.  He previously served as the Director of Goalkeeping for the Tiburon Peninsula Soccer Club.  Clark has also coached high school goalkeepers since 2007 and has served on the staff of Fran's Hoek Soccer Camps.

Off the pitch, you can find him on the golf course, watching Tottenham Hotspurs matches, or roaming the halls of Sonoma State University as he pursues a master's degree.
