2008-09: Posted a 5-3 overall record in singles, balancing time between the No. 5 and No. 6 positions...working primarily with Anthony Rollins, he went 7-4 in doubles action...four of his singles victories came on the Seawolves’ trip to Colorado...earned a doubles victory over the No. 3 team from Saint Mary’s in the season opener.
JUNIOR COLLEGE/HIGH SCHOOL: Was enrolled at Sonoma State and Santa Rosa Junior College as a freshman where he was an All-State doubles player as a freshman...won the conference doubles championship...is a graduate of Notre Dame High School...a two-sport athlete, he helped guide the NDHS football team to a CIF Championship and No. 11 national ranking...played four years of football and tennis.
PERSONAL: A Business Finance major, Gaynor is among the top 10% of all business majors at Sonoma State and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society...is vice president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) at SSU...roots for Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers...considers his father to be his biggest influence as an athlete.
