Biography

2019 SEASON (JUNIOR):
  • Started in all 49 appearances for the Seawolves recording a team best .393 batting average (min. 25 AB)
  • Balanon also lead the team in hits, triples, and slugging percentage 
  • Balanon was fourth in average, second in hits, second in home runs and first in triples in the CCAA
  • CCAA player of the week March 25-31
  • Season high came against Cal State Monterey Bay where she hit 2 homers and 2 RBI's in a Seawolf victory!

2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE):
  • 7th Highest Slugging Percentage in the League 
  • Second Highest Batting Average on the Team 
  • 5th highest amount of Runs on the team
  • Third Highest amount of hits on the team 
  • Second highest amount of doubles on the team
  • Tied for first for highest amount of triples
  • Tied for first on the highest amount of Home runs on the team
  • Second highest amount of RBI’s on the team
  • Highest slugging percentage on the team
  • Tied for fifth on the highest amount of walks on the team

2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT):

2016 SEASON (FRESHMAN):
  • Lead the team in batting average .348
  • Scored 29 runs on 47 hits and 4 doubles and 21 RBI's
  • Started in 41 games
  • Had 2 hits, 1 double, 2 runs, 2 RBI's on 5 at bats against Nortre Dame De Namur on 4/3/16

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2015 graduate of Tracy High School...was a four-time All-League player at Tracy HS...named a Scholar-Athlete...picked up Stockton Record All-Area honors as an outfielder...led her conference in batting average...tied Tracy's school record for hits in a season...earned Tracy Press Athlete of the Week honors...also played four years of varsity golf.

PERSONAL:  Chose Sonoma State because of the small school atmosphere, location, and it felt like home...a fan of the Golden State Warriors...would like to meet Blake Lively...favorite TV show is Criminal Minds...loves elephants...her sister Samantha Balanon played golf at Sonoma State from 2009 to 2013.
