Biography

JUNIOR (2015):  Earned her second consecutive CCAA Most Valuable Pitcher award...also named First Team All-CCAA and First Team All-West Region by Daktronics and the NFCA...went 26-14 with a 2.68 ERA...led the team in every pitching category...ranked in the national top twenty in victories, strikeouts, and shutouts...her 244 strikeouts rank third for a single-season in school history...is now 2nd all-time in career strikeouts (595), 4th in appearances (111), 3rd in shutouts (19), and 3rd in victories (62)...started out the season with wins in 14 of her first 17 decisions...punched out a career-high 15 batters in the NCAA West Regional against Montana State Billings (5/9/15)...struck out 13 batters against Western Oregon (3/27/15)...named the CCAA's Pitcher of the Week for two consecutive weeks, February 23rd to March 1st and March 2nd to March 8th...named CCAA All-Academic.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Was named the CCAA Most Valuable Pitcher as well as First Team All-CCAA and All-West Region...led the conference in:  appearances (27), games started (24), wins (14), innings pitched (159.1), strikeouts (119), batters faced (583) and ERA (1.80)...was named CCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week (Apr 14-20) for her performance against Chico State, when she went 2-1 with a 0.39 ERA in 18 innings of work...named CCAA All-Academic.

FRESHMAN (2013):  Became part of the nation's most dominant pitching duo alongside senior teammate Samantha Lipperd ... went 14-8 with a 2.01 ERA in 24 appearances (21 starts) ... worked 143 innings in the circle, striking out 145 batters and walking just 32 ... twice named the CCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week (Feb 11-18 and Mar. 25-31 ... recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts on three different occasions (at Cal State Stanislaus on back-to-back days on Mar 29-30 and vs Western Oregon on Apr 6.).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Prospect High School in Saratoga, Calif. in 2012 ... named Prospect's Female Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior ... selected as the Most Valuable Player of the Blossom Valley Athletic League as a senior ... also played soccer (Second Team All-BVAL as a sophomore and senior) and field hockey (First Team All-BVAL as a senior).

PERSONAL:  Picked Sonoma State because of the location, the softball program, the school size, the major and the dorms ...undecided about her career path, but definitely wants to work with kids ... lists her Father as her biggest influence as an athlete ... is a fan of the San Francisco Giants ...favorite athlete is Lionel Messi ... favorite actress is Brianna Evigan ... favorite tv show is Orange is The New Black...favorite movie is Fast and The Furious ... favorite food is tofu... she is "deathly" afraid of birds and has seen the movie...most memorable moment came in her sophomore year at SSU, in the CCAA Conference Tournament against first-place Cal State Monterrey Bay. Pitched 14- inning game in the 4-2 victory over Monterrey. It was the most pumped-up she had been during a game and enjoyed the experience with her great teammates.
