Sonoma State University Athletics

2008:  Led the Seawolves in every pitching category, including wins (9), ERA (2.62), strikeouts (85), innings (181.1) and appearances (34)...ranked sixth in the CCAA in ERA and fifth in innings...had 18 complete games and four shutouts...struck out a season-high nine batters in a four-hit shutout of San Francisco State (4/4/08)...is currently ranked seventh in school history with 116 career strikeouts...her 85 strikeouts in 2008 are eighth in the record book...allowed only eight home runs, second in the conference among qualifying pitchers...tossed an opening day shutout of Notre Dame de Namur (2/6/08)...threw a two-hit shutout of CHaminade (4/1/08)...also batted .202 with nine RBIs in 119 at-bats...had five multi-hit games...went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs against Chico State (3/15/08).

2007:  Did a nice job for the Seawolves in ‘07, racking up a 6-4 record and 2.55 ERA...won her first four decisions of the year...struck out 31 batters and allowed just three home runs in 71.1 innings...tossed two complete games...allowed just one earned run in a seven-inning effort against CSU East Bay (2/21/07).

HIGH SCHOOL/JC:  Transferred to Sonoma State from Cypress Junior College, where she helped her team win a conference and state championship in 2006...also attended Arkansas Tech...guided her Capistrano Valley High team to a South Coast League title in 2002...was a Scholar-Athlete from 2000-04...team captain in 2004.

PERSONAL:  Decided on Sonoma State because of the campus, location, and kinesiology program...wants to be a high school P.E. teacher and softball coach...lists her Dad and Grandpa as her biggest athletic influences...her grandfather was an All-American for John Wooden at UCLA...her most memorable sports moments include a 17-inning game as a senior in high school and participating in the NCAA West Regionals as a sophomore at SSU...is a fan of Jennie Finch and the Anaheim Angels.
