Biography
JUNIOR (2016): Led the team in sacrifice bunts (8)...third on the team in walks (17)...Ranked second on the team with a .333 batting average (16-48) in conference games...Had an 11-game reached base streak...Had three walks in a game on two different occasions (3/1 and 3/16, both against Cal State Monterey Bay)...named CCAA All-Academic.
SOPHOMORE (2015): Saw action in 42 games with 35 starts...batted .256 with 16 runs scored and 9 runs batted in...posted two doubles and a triple and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts...committed just one error in 58 chances in the field...had multiple hits in a game on four occasions...drove in three against UC San Diego (3/7/15)...named CCAA All-Academic.
FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 42 games and started 26 of them....hit .264 in 72 plate appearances...Her best performance was a weekend series against Cal State Dominguez Hills when she went 5 for 12 with 6 RBI in four games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year member of the softball team...first team all-league in her junior and senior campaigns...first team all-county and won co-MVP her junior year...made second team all-county and won silver slugger her senior year.
PERSONAL: Came to Sonoma State because of the beautiful campus and outstanding softball program...She hopes to work for the FBI someday...Her favorite team is the Los Angeles Dodgers and her favorite player is Yasiel Puig...Her favorite movie is Lone Survivior...her biggest influence as an athlete is Tisha Duran...has an abnormally small pinkie finger that her teammates tease her about.
