2014 Sonoma State Softball Roster
Biography
JUNIOR (2013): Started in center field for all of Sonoma State's 58 games as a junior, hitting .262 with seven doubles, two triples, two home runs and 19 runs batted in .. Recorded a season-high three hits on two occasions (2/9/13 vs Western Oregon and 2/23/13 at UC San Diego) ...went 16 for 20 in stolen bases ... sported a .969 fielding percentage with just three errors in 96 chances in center field.
SOPHOMORE (2012): Appeared in all but two of the team's 55 games, making 41 starts, 39 of which were in right field ... hit .299 with 35 hits in 117 at bats, raking in four doubles, five home runs and 20 RBI with 23 runs scored ... stole 14 bases in 18 attempts.
FRESHMAN (2011): Put together a solid freshman season … played in 41 games, starting 23 ... in 57 at bats, she compiled 12 hits and batted .211 ... recorded one double, three home runs, while scoring 10 runs as well as bringing in 10 runs … had a season-high two RBI twice ... hit her first career home run at Cal State Stanislaus (3/12/11).
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif. … earned Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2007 … a three-time team captain for the Chargers ... First Team All-League in 2009 … a school board representative in 2008, ASB Vice President in 2009 and the ASB President in 2010 … also the Concert Choir President ... was the "head leader of cheers" at high school football games ... named the El Toro's Most Outgoing Person in 2010.
PERSONAL: Came to Sonoma State because she loves the Sonoma Aroma and, to be honest, who wouldn't want to be a Seawolf? ... is a fan of LOS DOYERS!! ... likes to watch anything on Netflix or any that are free on the Internet ... the person she'd most like to meet is her wiener dog, Ginger, if it was a person ... her favorite books are free ones that she gets on her Kindle ... her favorite food is food ... favorite animal is a giraffe ... one superstition is that she plays with her belly button ring in the outfield between pitches, only because it's a nervous habit ... plays with her pony tail a lot because one time she had short, spiky hair and it was absolutely horrible ... can apparently sing the National Anthem, but it has yet to be proven.
