A former student-athlete and 2013 Sonoma State University graduate, Taylor Vigil rejoins the Seawolves in 2016-17 for her fourth season as an assistant coach. 

An All-CCAA Second Team performer as a senior in 2012-13, played in 99 career games between 2009-13 and scored 603 points, averaging 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest and ranked tenth on SSU's all-time list for most career blocked shots (30).

Vigil, a native of Brentwood, Calif., who prepped at Carondelet High School, led Sonoma State as a senior in 2012-13 in points (214) and steals (33) and finishing second in rebounds (131), assists (45), and blocked shots (13) .  She also ranked third in the CCAA with a .492 field goal percentage. 

Her senior season will best be remembered for an incredible outing against San Francisco State (Nov. 24, 2012), in which she led the Seawolves to a win with 24 points on a school-record 12-of-12 shooting from the field.  Following her performance, she was named the CCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week, becoming the first from the team to bag the honor since Danae Wellander in 2007.
