Jody Lingafeldt, who played for Sonoma State in 1997 and served as an assistant coach for three years from 1998 to 2000, begins the third year of her second stint as an assistant coach in 2016.

A 1999 graduate of Sonoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Lingafeldt brings a wealth of soccer coaching experience to Salzmann Dunn's staff.

A center midfielder, Lingafeldt graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento before going on to play two years at American River JC, one at Sacramento State, and one at Sonoma.

An experienced coach with 12 years club experience with Santa Rosa United and Marin FC, she has also coached in the Olympic Development program for five years and with Coerver soccer for eight.

Prior to her current stint at SSU, Lingafeldt was a member of Sonoma State's 1998 national runner-up team and she helped lead Santa Rosa JC to the state finals.  

She has earned her NSCAA Premier and Director of Coaching diplomas and her USSF C License.  

Lingafeldt is currently working on her master's degree in coaching and administration from Concordia-Irvine.  In her spare time, Jody enjoys hiking (ANYWHERE!).
