Margi Osmundson is in her second year as an assistant coach for the Sonoma State women's soccer program in 2018.
Osmundson, a four-year starter for the Seawolves from 2012-15, was a two-time All-West Region selection for head coach Emiria Salzmann Dunn and an All-American her senior season. She played in 77 career games, all starts, scoring 14 goals and adding 18 assists. While in the Seawolf uniform, the team went 57-16-9 during her four-year career.
After graduating from Sonoma State University in 2016, Osmundson spent one season as the assistant coach at NCAA Division II West Region-foe Holy Names University.
Osmundson is a local product, graduating from Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, Calif. in 2011. She was a three-time All-League pick for the Gauchos, garnering First Team honors as a junior and senior. Osmundson also was a two-time All-Empire selection and named the Sonoma County League MVP as a junior.
