FRESHMAN (2010):  Spent her freshman season right in the middle of the Seawolves’ defense ... Was the only player on the team to start all 17 games ... Scored the game-winning goal with just 11 seconds left in Sonoma’s 1-0 win over Humboldt State (10/24/10) ... Crucial member of a defense that surrendered just 20 goals all season long ... Attempted three shots on offense.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Prepped at nearby Santa Rosa High School and graduated in 2010 ... Was a California Interscholastic Federation Scholar-Athlete all four years ... Named second team all-league as a sophomore and first team all-league as a junior and senior ... Honored as her school’s MVP in her final two years as a Panther.

PERSONAL:  Full name is Julianne Joy McFarlin ... Chose Sonoma State because of its proximity to home, the soccer program, and so her parents can attend all home games ... Is a fan of the San Francisco Giants ... Her favorite sports moment was when she scored the game winning overtime goal on the road against Cal State L.A. last season.
