Sonoma State University Athletics

2013:  had an astounding first year with the Seawolves going 20-3 in singles and 16-6 in doubles... beat a nationally ranked opponent in both singles and doubles... was the No. 11 regionally ranked player for seven matches in late March/early April... won all but three of her singles wins in straight sets. 

HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE:  Transfers to Sonoma State from Fresno Pacific...had a tremendous two-year career for the Sunbirds (2009-2011)...played No. 2 singles her freshman season, helping the Sunbirds to a national title...went 24-1 and was named a Second Team All-American...as a sophomore in 2011, she was a First Team All-American after going 13-6 at No. 1 singles, despite battling numerous injuries...helped lead the Sunbirds to a national runner-up finish...graduated from Ies Ramon Cid in Benicarlo, Spain.

PERSONAL:  Came to Sonoma State because she wanted to play for Coach Lopez...is a fan of FC Barcelona...lists Andre Agassi as her favorite player... would most like to meet Will Smith because he is her favorite actor... her parents are her biggest influences as an athlete... listens to the music of Rebelution... favorite movie is Schindler's List... her favorite sports moment was watching Spain win its first World Cup in 2010... enjoys reading the book 50 Poemas de Amor y Una Cancion Desesperada... likes to eat Paella... loves eating at sushi restaurants... needs to listen to music before every tennis match
