Biography

2011:  Appeared in all 30 matches for the Seawolves … ranked fifth on the team in kills with 142 … contributed 16 assists, 54 digs and 71 total blocks, including 14 solo blocks … ranked first on the team in 2011 with a .342 season attack percentage.

2010:  Started all 27 matches for the Seawolves as a sophomore in 2010 ... finished sixth in the CCAA in blocks per set (0.86), rejecting a team-high 79 attacks at the net, 12 of which were solo ... had a season-high 10 kills in a 3-1 victory at Humboldt State, hitting .500 with just one error in 18 attacks (11/3/10) ... hit .254 for the season (137k-46e-358a) ... recorded 16 service aces, including a career-high six aces in a thrilling five-set victory over Cal State Stanislaus (9/17/10) ... made 15 digs against UC San Diego (10/15/10) ... named to the CCAA All-Academic Team.

2009:  Redshirted for Sonoma State due to injury.

2008:  Had a successful freshman season for the Seawolves in 2008 … contributed 95 kills in 60 sets played … hit at a .257 clip for the season (95k-33e-241a) … helped Sonoma State to a five-set victory at Notre Dame de Namur (9/16/08) with 11 kills, the first double-digit output of her young career … had a season-high 12 hammers at San Francisco State (11/1/08), sporting a .435 hitting percentage with just two errors in 23 attempts … accumulated 38 blocks during the season … had five rejections twice- in a match against Cal State Monterey Bay (9/27/08) and at San Francisco State (11/1/08).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Arrives at Sonoma State after a stellar career at Clovis High School ... helped lead her team to back-to-back valley and league championships ... helped the Cougars advance to the state's Elite Eight ... named First Team All-League ... was her team’s Most Valuable Player ... earned the Cougars’ Clutch Award.

PERSONAL:  Chose Sonoma State because she wanted to "get out of the horrible heat of Fresno" and she likes the small town and the university's teacher-to-student ratio ... lists Chris Hemsworth as her biggest influence as an athlete ... loves country music and singer Blake Shelton ... fan of the Los Angeles Lakers ... likes to eat anything she doesn’t have to make ... says Chico State and UC San Diego is her favorite opponent to play ... her goal this season is to win the conference and win regionals … is afraid of zombies and has created a plan in case they ever take over the world … used to sleep with a bat.
