Biography
2009: Played in 31 of SSU’s 32 games...scored 10 goals and handed out seven assists...grabbed 11 steals and was second on the team with four field blocks.
2008: Appeared in all 31 games for the Seawolves as a freshman…posted 14 goals on 33 attempts…dished out seven assists and forced 14 steals…led the team in scoring against Hartwick on Mar. 29 with two goals on two attempts…recorded two goals and one assist in a win over Chapman on Mar. 10.
High School: Played varsity water polo at Alameda High School from 2004-2006… First Team All-ACCAL in 2005 as well as Most Improved for Alameda…was a team captain her senior year…voted Most Inspirational in 2006…grabbed another First Team All-ACCAL honor during her final year.
Personal: Holly Alyssa Armijo is the daughter of John and Sherri Armijo…chose Sonoma State to play water polo…is a fan of the Oakland A’s…career goals are to work with children…the Twilight Series are her favorite books.
