ROHNERT PARK -- The Sonoma State University men's basketball program invites all coaches, men and women, to attend the inaugural SSU Basketball Coaches Clinic. The event will take place on Sunday, September 30th in The Wolves' Den on the campus of Sonoma State Unviersity, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Open to all coaches, from middle school and AAU to college, the clinic will include on-the-court demonstrations and teachings by SSU head men's basketball coach
Pat Fuscaldo and several guest speakers, including head coach
Mike Montgomery of California, head coach
Bob Williams of UC Santa Barbara, and head coach
Bill Grier of the University of San Diego.
All speakers will include on-the-court demonstrations. Each speaker will focus on a specific aspect of the game as they discuss topics such as set plays and special situations, motion offense and breakdown drills, and match-up zone defense.
The cost for the clinic is $55 per person on or before Sept. 15, or $65 after Sept. 15. The cost of registration includes morning coffee and donuts, an afternoon lunch and a Sonoma State basketball T-shirt. A schedule of events is listed below.
