Women's Tennis Aced By UC San Diego

Erin Kramer had a win at No. 5 singles for SSU
LA JOLLA, Calif-  The Sonoma State women's tennis team battled, but in the end became the 32nd straight CCAA opponent to fall to UC San Diego, falling by a 7-2 score on Friday afternoon in La Jolla.  The Seawolves got wins from Erin Kramer at No. 5 singles and the team of Amy Belsher/Casey O'Connor at No. 3 doubles as they drop to 0-2, 0-1 CCAA on the season.  The Tritons go to 2-2, 2-0 CCAA.

SSU came out of the doubles competition down just 2-1 after Belsher and O'Connor earned an 8-6 victory over Allison Legakis and Pooja Desai.  UCSD, however, took five of the six singles matches to emerge with the 7-2 win.
