POMONA, Calif. - The Sonoma State women's water polo team saw its four-game winning streak halted as they dropped an 11-7 decidion to Lancer Invite co-host, Pomona-Pitzer, Friday afternoon.

The Seawolves (11-8 overall) trailed 6-5 at the break, but the Sagehens increased their lead in the third period to 8-6 and cruised to the victory. The Sagehens are ranked No. 2 in the Collegiate III poll.

Sonoma State was led by Roxanna McEwen who tallied two goals. Laurel Stricklin, Jessica Scott, Jenna Bole, Christina Maher and Sam Mullins each scored once.

The Seawolves are back in tomorrow when they play Occidental at 9:00 am.
