POMONA, Calif. - The Sonoma State women's water polo team saw its four-game winning streak halted as they dropped an 11-7 decidion to Lancer Invite co-host, Pomona-Pitzer, Friday afternoon.
The Seawolves (11-8 overall) trailed 6-5 at the break, but the Sagehens increased their lead in the third period to 8-6 and cruised to the victory. The Sagehens are ranked No. 2 in the Collegiate III poll.
Sonoma State was led by Roxanna McEwen who tallied two goals.

The Seawolves are back in tomorrow when they play Occidental at 9:00 am.
