SEASIDE, Calif- Sonoma State took game one, but then fell in the final three to drop a CCAA volleyball match to Cal State Monterey Bay on Wednesday in Seaside. The Seawolves drop to 5-8, 1-3 CCAA with the loss.
The Sewaolves rolled to a 30-20 win in game one on the strength of a .429 hitting percentage. The Seawolves would go on to hit a solid .257 for the match, but they couldn't get wins in any of the final three games.
CSUMB took game two 30-25, then edged the Seawolves by identical scores of 30-27 in the third and fourth.
Marianne Fox led the Seawolves with 14 kills in the game.

Kaylee Aizenstadt, and
Sarah Illingworth all chipped in with 11.
Lindsay Brown had seven kills and a .538 hitting percentage to go along with a game-high 46 assists.
Taylor Manton was tops in the game with 32 digs.
The Otters got 16 kills from Courtney Taubert and 12 more from Kendra Miller as they improve to 3-11, 2-2 CCAA.
Sonoma State hosts Humboldt State this Friday at Seawolf Gym.
