PHOENIX, Ariz- The Sonoma State men's tennis team continued their strong play against NCAA Division II opponents on Sunday with a 9-0 blanking of Western New Mexico in Phoenix. The Seawolves (3-2) have won three straight this weekend and have outscored their opponents 23-0 in the process.
SSU won all three doubles matches handily, but had some scares in singles. Both
Andy Muesse and
Jeff Stollberg used come-from-behind efforts to get wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
Brett McNulty also need to go extra to get the win at No. 4.
Connor Olson (No. 3),
Jeremy Heckley (No. 5), and
Quan Vu (No. 6) all won easily.
