Women's Tennis Edges No. 32 Cal Poly Pomona

Stephanie Luk posted two wins for the Seawolves
ROHNERT PARK, Calif- The Sonoma State women's tennis team posted four wins in singles play and notched a victory in double's competition to outlast No. 32 Cal Poly Pomona, 5-4, at the Seawolf Courts Saturday morning. The win improves the Seawolves record to 3-1.

In doubles action, the Broncos tallied two victories at No. 2 and No. 3 to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. The lone victory for the Seawolves was produced by the duo of Stephanie Luk and Molly Maguire as they shut down Jennifer Chow and Fallon Blattner, 8-4.

Sonoma State would rebound in the singles portion of the match and rally for four victories to claim victory. Luke was a straight set winner over Jessica Winkler (7-5, 6-1), and Dana Carollo was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Mallory Brady.

No. 9 ranked Sonoma State will return to action Feb. 25 when they square off against Santa Clara.
