ROHNERT PARK, Calif- The Sonoma State women's tennis team wasted little time Friday afternoon dispatching the visiting Coyotes, sweeping Cal State San Bernardino, 9-0. The victory improves the Seawolves record to 4-1.
In doubles,
Stephanie Luk and
Molly Maguire teamed to make quick work out of Leslie Horn and Brittany Choate, winning 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. The Seawolves completed the doubles sweep when
Jeanette Peck and
Stephanie Hoffmire outlasted Janay Palicte and Allison Brookes, 8-6.
Sonoma continued their dominance in the singles portion of the match, posting straight set victories in all six matches. At No. 4,
Jessica Harris dropped Dottie Elwell (6-2, 6-2), while
Mary Bulich tallied a (6-3, 6-1) win at No. 5 over Palicte.
