Women's Tennis Clipped By Golden Eagles, 6-3

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  Six weeks after coming up with a big 6-3 road win over Cal State L.A., the Sonoma State women's tennis team had the tables turned as the Golden Eagles emerged with a 6-3 win on Friday in Rohnert Park.  The 45th-ranked Seawolves fall to 8-7, 3-5 CCAA while the Golden Eagles improve to 7-6, 2-3 CCAA.

The Golden Eagles emerged with a 2-1 lead after doubles play thanks to a decisive 8-1 win in the No. 1 match.  The teams split 8-6 decisions at No. 2 and No. 3.

Cal State L.A. woul drun away with the match by winning four of the six singles matches.  Sonoma State's only victories of the day occurred at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, by Stephanie Hoffmire and Jessica Harris, respectively.

The Seawolves will host Weber State on Saturday.
