ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Jeanette Peck and Stephanie Hoffmire earned a doubles victory and Molly Maguire added a win at the No. 5 singles position, but it would be the only wins that Sonoma State would be able to muster up in a 7-2 loss to 19th-ranked Cal State Stanislaus in the Seawolves' season finale on Tuesday afternoon at the SSU Tennis Courts.

Peck and Hoffmire defeated Arina Polovnikova and Alexis Ferreira, 8-4, giving the Seawolves the only doubles win of the afternoon.

In singles play, Maguire earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Heather Cotter. In the longest match of the day Jessica Harris battled with Erin McGurty in an epic match, but Harris fell short in the 7-6 (8-6), 5-7, 10-7 marathon. It was just her second loss in the last 13 matches. Harris finished 2010 with a 16-4 singles record in dual matches.

Sonoma State, ranked 35th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Poll and sixth in the west region, wrapped up their season with a 10-10 overall record and 3-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
