HONOLULU, Hawaii-  Sonoma State recovered from a 2-1 deficit after doubles to defeat Chaminade on Wednesday afternoon, 5-4 in Honolulu.  The win evens out the Seawolves' record at 9-9 on the season.

The doubles team of Jeanette Peck and Stephanie Hoffmire won the No. 3 doubles match, 8-4, but that would be the lone bright spot in pairs play for the Seawolves.

Despite losses at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, the Seawolves got the win thanks to a strong showing at the bottom of the ladder.  Singles wins came from Haley Hickock, Peck, Jessica Harris, Molly Maguire, and Hoffmire. 

The Seawolves return to action against Hawaii-Hilo tomorrow in Kona.
