ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Stephanie Hoffmire earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory over San Jose State's Kalin Eshelman, but it would be the only point that Sonoma State would garner, as the Spartans cruised to an 8-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at the SSU Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park. The Seawolves fall to 2-3 this season while SJSU improves to 2-0.

Sonoma State will return to the courts on Friday when it travels south to take on UC San Diego on Friday and Cal State L.A. on Saturday.
