Haley Hickock and
Dana Carollo ended their regular season career as winners at the No. 2 doubles, defeating Hawaii Hilo's Janelle Ng and Lindsay Shin, 8-2, helping the Sonoma State women's tennis team to a 6-3 victory in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at the SSU Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park. The Seawolves end 2011 with a 12-9 record.
Hickock overcame an injury that hampered her all week to help her partner, Carollo, to earn a dominating victory, giving the Seawolves their first win of the afternoon.
Stephanie Hoffmire and
Brooke McBride swept their opponents, 8-0, and Sonoma State lead 2-1 after the doubles competition.
In singles play,
Anastasia Eliseeva earned a third set tiebreaking victory at No. 2 singles, so do
Megan White at No. 3.
Brooke McBride and Hoffmire also earned victories at the No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
