Megan White and
Sheena Johnson forced third-set tiebreakers in singles play, but BYU-Hawai'i, which is ranked at No. 2 in the nation, overpowered Sonoma State in the end, as the Seasiders defeated the Seawolves, 9-0, on Friday morning at the Phoenix Tennis Center in Phoenix, Ariz. SSU drops its first game of the season, moving to 2-1.
Sonoma State will look to rebound on Saturday when the Seawolves face Metro State. First serve in Phoenix, Ariz., is set for 3:30 p.m.
