SSU Academic Distinction List
All-Academic Teams: CCAA | WWPA
ROHNERT PARK -- With another successful year in the books for the student-athletes at Sonoma State University, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to announce that, in addition to 61 postseason awards for efforts in competition, 43 Seawolves earned All-Academic honors by their respective conferences for the 2011-12 school year.
In addition, 15 other student-athletes that were not eligible for conference awards and/or compete on a team not affiliated with a conference, earned Academic Distinction by SSU for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) placed 38 Seawolves on its All-Academic list and the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) recognized five women's water polo members for academic excellence.
