ROHNERT PARK, Calif.  --  Sonoma State got out to a good start, winning two of three doubles matches, but they were overwhelmed in singles play, falling 5-4 to the Academy of Art on Saturday afternoon in Rohnert Park.  Sara Celma and Lauren Ha were both double winners in the defeat.  The loss drops the Seawolves to 4-3 while the Urban Knights win their sixth straight to improve to 6-0.

Celma and Chloe Jolliff led the way at No. 1 doubles for Sonoma, winning by an 8-1 score.  Their teammates at No. 3, Ha and Sheena Johnson also won 8-4.

The momentum would eventually shift, however, as the Academy of Art won four of the six singles matches.

Celma took her contest at No. 1, 6-3, 6-3, to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Lauren Ha also took care of her opponent at No. 6, emerging victorious by a 6-3, 7-6 score.

Up next for the Seawolves is another home match, against Holy Names on Friday.
