ROHNERT PARK -- The Sonoma State women's tennis team surrendered just five points, all in singles play, as the Seawolves, who improved to 7-5 this season, steamrolled past visiting Mills College, 9-0, on Friday afternoon at the SSU Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park.  It was the second 9-0 win of the season for SSU.  Mills snaps a two-match win streak and falls even on the year at 2-2.

After three straight 8-0 doubles wins by all three Seawolf pairs, Sara Celma, Megan White and Lauren Shafer each recorded 6-0, 6-0 sweeps at the No. 1, 2 and 4 positions.  Chloe Jolliff dispatched her opponent at No. 3 singles by a score of 6-1, 6-1, Lauren Ha allowed just one point at No. 4 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win and Spencer Trotta defeated her opponent at No. 6 singles by scores of 6-0, 6-2.

While the Seawolves are 7-5 this season, they hold a 41-28 dual-match record in singles play and a 21-15 mark in doubles competition.

Sonoma State next heads to Turlock on Saturday to face Cal State Stanislaus (1-5) at Noon.
