ROHNERT PARK -- The 18th-ranked Sonoma State women's volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with its 19th consecutive victory and its eighth straight sweep with a 3-0 win over visiting Chico State (25-14, 25-16, 25-15) on Senior Night at The Wolves' Den Saturday.
The CCAA champion Seawolves (23-3, 19-1 CCAA) completed an undefeated season at home, going 11-0 on The Wolves' Den hardwood in 2015, extending their home win streak to 20 games, dating back to last season. In fact, Sonoma is 35-2 at home in the last three seasons (both losses to Cal State San Bernardino).
The Wildcats (17-13, 9-11 CCAA) finished eighth in the CCAA standings, setting up a Sonoma-Chico rematch in the opening round of the inaugural CCAA Championship Tournament which begins Thursday in La Jolla. First serve is set for 2:30 pm.
Sonoma blew past Chico on Saturday night, hitting .330 while holding the visitors to just .028 on offense, the second-lowest opponent hitting percentage allowed by the Seawolves this season. Seniors

Madelyn Densberger and
Kaitlyn Connolly were unstoppable on a night that was all about them -- Seitz led all hitters with 12 kills, Densberger had 10 kills, six digs and five blocks, and Connolly recorded 13 digs and a career-best four service aces.
Rachel Andrews had another big night at the net, rejecting six attacks, totaling 24 blocks in her last three matches.
