FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- Kylie Kiech scored a team-high nine points and three others scored seven, but the Sonoma State women's basketball team saw its three-game win streak come to an end with a 76-61 loss to host Alaska on Thanksgiving day as part of the North Star Invitational in Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Seawolves move to 3-2 this season while the Nanooks of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) rose to 4-2.
Sonoma State will play two more games in Alaska this weekend, taking on Northwood on Friday and Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday, both at 2:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.
