ROHNERT PARK -- The Sonoma State women's basketball team rallied from 15 points down early in the fourth quarter to get within four points with 1:50 to play, but visiting San Francisco State held on to defeat the Seawolves, 69-62, on Thursday night at The Wolves' Den. Sonoma falls to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the CCAA. The Gators rise to 3-4 (1-3 CCAA).
Ugochi Anudokem scored her second double-double of the season, pouring in a team-high 20 points with 10 rebounds in 29 minutes of action.
Jessica Mitz and
Madison Burroughs each chipped in with 10 points.
The Seawolves crashed the boards Thursday, outrebounding the Gators 44-29.
Sonoma State returns to action Saturday when it hosts Stanislaus State at 5:30 pm.
