ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – In game one of the four game conference series, Sonoma State fell to Chico State 4-1. Sonoma falls 8-5 overall and 5-4 in CCAA play, while Chico rises to 16-4 overall and 9-0 in conference.

Grant St. Martin out to right field to bring
Rayson Romero home in the sixth inning.
Daniel Caresio was 2 for 4 at the plate and Romero had one run off two at-bats.
Ricky Clark earned the loss for the game and his record is now 1-1.
The Seawolf defense saw 13 Wildcats stranded in the game and held them to only three runs on 11 hits.
The Seawolves will face the Wildcats March 11 at 11:00 am for their first game of Saturday's double-header.
