SURPRISE, Ariz. - #17 Sonoma State swept its way into the second round of PacWest Conference Championship Wednesday afternoon by defeating Holy Names University.
After the Seawolves took the doubles competition, they only needed two singles matches to advance. #11
Jensyn Warren and
Jenna DeTurk were able to clinch victory for their team, each winning in two sets. DeTurk won 6-0 in both sets and Warren 6-1, 6-0.
The Seawolves will face the #2 seed, Hawaii Pacific University in the quarterfinals tomorrow at 1:30pm. The Sharks are ranked #5 nationally.
