SURPRISE, Ariz. - The #17 Seawolves lost in the quarterfinals of the PacWest tournament at the hand of #5 Hawai'i Pacific University Sharks 5-1. 

Sonoma State's record falls 17-11 and they will begin competing for the fifth place spot. They face Point Loma tomorrow April 21, at 1:30pm. 

Sonoma State claimed one doubles match. Duo Amanda Zuidema and Jenna DeTurk defeated their Shark opponents 8-1. 

It was in the singles matches that the Seawolves came up short. #11 Jensyn Warren took on #3 Nicole Hoyanaski and fell in two sets 6-4,6-4. After two more lost matches, the contest was ended.
