San Marcos, Calif. – Seawolves are now 8-14 (.364) overall and 4-9 (.308) in the CCAA after this evening's 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-10) loss to the Cougars of Cal State San Marcos on the road.
SET BY SET: Sonoma entered the first set behind 4-2, closing the gap 5-5 before failing to find the lead, and falling by twelve points (25-13). After the ten plus deficit in set one, the Seawolves found a 10-8 lead over the Cougars, eventually falling 25-15. Down 2-0 Sonoma tied the third set 1-1, the tables turned quickly as Cal State San Marcos notched 22 of the next 28 points before capturing the 15-point win over the Seawolves.
