SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Sunday afternoon featured a top 25 national Division II women's tennis matchup between the #18 Sonoma State Seawolves at #7 Academy of Art. The Seawolves couldn't answer from the 3-0 deficit obtained from the doubles matches and lost the match 6-3. The Seawolves fall to 3-1 and the Hawks improve to 2-1.

In doubles play, the Seawolves lost all three matches.  In the doubles 2 match, Carolyn Brooner and Jenna DeTurk fought their opponent to the tie breaking game but lost in the last game (8-7 (7-3)). In singles play the Seawolves tried to make up from the 3-0 deficit. They managed to get three points from victories from #18 Jensyn Warren, Amanda Zuidema and Carolyn Brooner. In the end they lost 6-3.

The Seawolves look to recover from this loss next week when they travel to UC Santa Cruz to take on the Banana Slugs. First serve is set for 2pm.
