Alee Balanon went 4 for 8 with the game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh of game two as the Sonoma State softball team swept visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills Friday afternoon by scores of 6-2 and 2-1. The Seawolves rise to 8-4 overall and 4-2 in the CCAA. The Toros fall to 4-7 (2-4 CCAA).
Sonoma got off to a quick start in its first at bat of the day loading the bases ahead of a
Sarah Langley single to center field scoring Balanon for the 1-0 lead.
Ashley Long then grounded out to second base, but it allowed
Alex Flores to score for the second run of the game.
In the fourth inning, Flores tacked on another run for the Seawolves with a single shooting through the right side scoring Balanon for the 3-0 advantage.
Cal State Dominguez Hills was able to get two runs back in the fifth inning to cut the SSU lead to 3-2, but the Seawolves responded in their half of the fifth inning, thanks to a two-RBI triple off the bat of Macadangdang that scored Long and Langley.

Brigid Ruiz and CSUDH's Alyssa Olague as they held each team scoreless through four innings. It was in the fifth inning when the Toros finally broke the tie on an RBI double to go up 1-0. It wasn't until the bottom of the sixth inning with two outs that Sonoma was able to rally.
Sarah Langley doubled with two outs before scampering home on another triple by Macadangdang to knot the score at 1-1.
Looking as if the game might go into extra innings thanks to two quick outs by Olague,
