ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- The Seawolves welcomed the Hawks of Holy Names to Sonoma State on Sunday afternoon and took the match 9-0. With the victory, the Seawolves improve to 2-0 on the year and the Hawks fall to 0-1.
The Seawolves jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after securing victories in all three doubles matches. The Seawolves clinched victory after Kathrine Long won her Singles 6 match against Macy Barajas (6-0, 6-1). All Seawolves won in two sets except for
Clarisa Colling who needed the tie breaking third set to claim victory in Singles 3 (2-6, 6-3, 10-1). This is the second consecutive match in which the Seawolves have won 9-0.
The Seawolves welcomes Dominican (CA) next Saturday for their final home game for the month. First serve will be served at 11am.
