On Saturday, October 11, the Sonoma State Women's Soccer team took on Cal State Dominguez Hills, in Carson, CA. The close game between the two teams resulted in a 2-0 victory for Sonoma State.
The first half was a close match up between the two teams and ended 0-0, but Seawolves out shot the Toros 5 to 3.
Scoring the first goal in the second half was
Julia Pritchard getting a long pass from
Krissy Keller in the defense for the assist. With the score 1-0 and with only 11 minutes left in the game,
Alexis Espitia scored the final goal of the game receiving the pass from
Sarah Lindborg.
The match between the Toro's and the Seawolves was well fought and was truly a team effort from the great saves of Goal Keeper
Ashley Morton, to the scoring of incredible goals from the offense. The Seawolves remain undefeated in Conference and look to get a Sweep on the weekend.
