Tate Battistini's 9 kills (24 overall) to serve notice to the favored Golden Eagles.
Cal State LA won he second set but the Seawolves rallied again and won set 3 to take a 2-1 advantage. Hanna Coe broke a 24 all tie and then Libero,
Ashleigh Phelps finished the game with a service ace.
Cal State LA won the third set to force the 5th and deciding game and won that one 15-9. The Golden Eagles came into the match having won 3 straight set victories in a row.
The Seawolves return home after dropping both Southern Califronia matches and host UC San Diego on Thursday night in the Wolves Dense
