Belmont, CA - Sonoma State went on a 10-0 scoring run in the 4th quarter to pull away from Notre Dame de Namur on Sunday afternoon for a 58-47 win. The Seawolves were able to pound the ball down low outscoring the Argos 26-16 in the paint.

Delaney McCann combined for 21 points on the block as the Seawolves struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 3 3-pointers.

For Anudokem it was another double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Her second double-double in as many games so far this year.
With the game close at 48-47 and under 3 minutes to play
Kylie Kiech hit a 3 pointer from the left wing and then moments later completed and old fashioned 3 point play. NDNU never recovered going scoreless in the final 3:51. Kiech finished with 13 points, while
Sophie Northern added 11, including 2 clutch free throws down the stretch. Northern was 6 of 6 from the line.
With the win SSU is now 2-0 on the young season and looking forward to hosting Western Oregon and Concordia (Oregon) next Friday and Saturday in the CCAA/GNAC Challenge.
