Rohnert Park, CA - Sonoma State led by 20 points with just over 14 minutes to go but ended up winning in overtime as Cal State Monterey Bay made a historic comeback that fell short at The Wolves Den. Monterey Bay scored the final 11 points to send the game to the extra period as the Otters bench outscored SSU's 51-11.
Isaac Davidson had a big game for the Seawolves scoring a team high 26 points and holding CSUMB leading scorer Jahvon Johnson to 11.
Kenny Olsem added 18 points for the Seawolves and hit some some clutch free throws down the stretch.
Nick Klarman scored 15 including 4 in overtime to help the Seawolves to outscore Monterey Bay 16-13 in the extra 5 minutes.
Wesley Gilbert also came up big in OT scoring two important baskets before fouling out.
Pat Fuscaldo's squad is now 2-0 in CCAA play with wins over CSUMB and Humboldt State in conference.
Next week the Seawolves head south to take on San Marcos and Dominguez Hills on the road.
