Rohnert Park, Ca- SSU had trouble getting on track offensively against the tall and athletic Chico State Wildcats, as CSU pulled away with a 73-48 win.
The Wildcats went on a 10-0 scoring run in the second quarter and never looked back leading big at the half, 39-22.

The Seawolve got off to a promising start in the second half as
Nick Klarman scored on a layup, then
Isaac Davidson hit a twelve footer, followed by a fast break lay in by
Kenny Olsem. But just before the Seaowolves had a chance to get below double digits, Chico State's Calvin Geraci hit a 3 and was fouled. He completed a crucial 4 point play. That was as close as Sonoma State would get,
SSU was out-rebounded by Chico 38-23, getting very few second chance opportunities.
Isaac Davidson led the team with 10 points and was the only Seawolf in double figures.
Wesley Gilbert had 8 and Eric Nielson added 6.
