La Jolla, Ca-  The 8th ranked UC San Diego Tritons hit 17 three-pointers and pulled away form the Seawolves 84-69 on Thursday night. 
Sonoma State started off hot as well, leading by five midway through the first half but the Tritons began to light up the scoreboard and built a 20 point lead at the break.
Sonoma State outscored UCSD 40-35 in the second half as they went on a 8-0 scoring run with just over 10 minutes to play but could not quite get over the hump.
Isaac Davidson scored 14 with 10 rebounds and 
Jeremy Lillis hit for 13 off the bench for Sonoma State.  
Jacob Williams chipped in 9, as the SSU bench outscored the Tritons 29-24.
The Seawolves take on Cal State LA on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM in Los Angeles.
