Lumberjacks Top Seawolves

Arcata, Calif. – After trailing Humboldt State 34-24 at halftime, Sonoma State came back to score 42 points in the second half for a 78-66 final. 
 
With one regular season game left, the Seawolves are 8-17 overall and 6-15 in the CCAA.
 
Sonoma States comeback effort was highlighted by senior Lewayne Grant 20-point performance. Grant went 7-for-9 from the field, making six of his seven free throw attempts. 
 
Tonight's game featured Isaac Davidsons 21st double-figure game this season, adding a dozen to the board, shooting 4-for-11 (2-for-4 from the arc) and 2-for-2 charity line. While Mason Phillips was credited ten of his own, going 4-for-12 from the field, making 2-of-7 three-pointers.
 
Jordan Hickman collected ten rebounds and nine points to help the Seawolves offensive efforts. 
 
The Seawolves capitalized on 11 points off turnovers, 13-second chance points, seven bench points, and 28 points in the paint. 
 
In the final half, the Seawolves held the Lumberjacks to 45.5 percent from the field while shooting 50 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line for a 44-42 final 20 minutes.
