In the circle Tereasa Danenberg got the start and credited the win for her five innings of shutout pitching, Brielle Vidmar then came in to close allowing one hit and one run in her two innings of work.

The Seawolves began its scoring efforts in the second inning, capitalizing on an error by the Sharks to find themselves on the board 1-0.

Sonoma States offense held the Sharks from crossing the plate up until the final inning.

A double by Jordyn Martinez, followed by a perfectly placed bunt by Nicole Renner began Sonoma States two-run 6th inning. Linsdey Calcany Blair stepped up to the plate with a sacrifice fly to left field to score Renner to give the Seawolves 4-0 insurance entering the final stanza.
